Delete your INeedHelp account
You can delete your INeedHelp account directly in the Android app. This page explains how to request deletion and what happens to your data.
How to delete your account
- Open the INeedHelp app and sign in.
- Open the app menu.
- Tap Account.
- Tap Delete Account.
- Confirm when prompted.
If you cannot access the app, email ineedhelpkonon@gmail.com from the address linked to your account and ask us to delete it.
Data that is deleted
When your account is deleted, we remove or erase:
- Your login credentials and account identifiers (email, username)
- Your profile and app settings
- Groups you own, your group memberships, and related invitations
- Your alert rules, triggers, and incident history
- Location data associated with your account
- Push notification tokens and subscriptions
Data that may be kept
- Anonymous or de-identified diagnostic records you previously submitted (for example crash reports, bug reports, or feedback), when retained for reliability and support purposes
- Records we must keep for legal, security, or fraud-prevention reasons, for as long as required by applicable law
Retention period
Account credentials are deleted immediately when you confirm deletion in the app. Remaining app data is removed in a background process, usually within a few days.
